Spell Surge has been designed to provide an immersive Mixed Reality multiplayer experience while minimizing the collection of personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Game uses, how it is processed, and what data is (and is not) collected.

Spell Surge does not collect or store:

Camera Access

Spell Surge requests camera access exclusively to enable Mixed Reality features provided by Meta Quest.

The camera is used for:

Passthrough visualization
AprilTag detection
Shared spatial alignment between players

Camera images are processed locally by the headset. Spell Surge does not record, store, transmit, or upload camera images.

Microphone Access

Spell Surge requests microphone permission to recognize spoken spell commands.

Voice recognition is performed locally on the headset using the Vosk Speech Recognition engine.

Audio recordings are not stored.
Voice data is not transmitted to external servers.
Voice data is not used for advertising or profiling.

Local Data Storage

Spell Surge stores limited information locally on your headset, including:

Initial setup completion
Local preferences
Configuration settings

This information never leaves your device.

Multiplayer

Spell Surge supports Local Area Network (LAN) multiplayer.

Network communication is used exclusively to synchronize gameplay between players.

No gameplay data is stored on FatyFlyns servers.

Internet Usage

Spell Surge does not require an Internet connection to play LAN matches.

An Internet connection may be required for:

Downloading the game
Game updates
Meta platform services
Operating system updates

Analytics

Spell Surge currently does not include analytics services. No gameplay statistics are collected by FatyFlyns.

Advertising

Spell Surge contains no advertisements. No advertising identifiers are collected.

In-App Purchases

Spell Surge currently offers no in-app purchases.

Children

Spell Surge is intended for players aged 10 years and older. Parents or guardians should supervise younger players when using Mixed Reality devices.

Spell Surge uses third-party software components, including:

Each component remains subject to its own license.

Security
